In the wake of a dominant performance in the 2023 Formula 1 season, the Red Bull Formula 1 team has introduced an exclusive NFT collection on the Sui blockchain. The team’s press release on Friday revealed that fans would have a limited-time opportunity to mint these collectibles for free exclusively on Sui, the official blockchain partner of the team.

This NFT drop follows the remarkable achievements of Oracle Red Bull Racing in the 2023 Formula 1 season, where the team achieved unprecedented success. Setting a record for the highest number of championship points in a single season, leading the most laps, securing the Team’s inaugural one-two individual driver finish, and witnessing Max Verstappen, the driver, achieve the highest points tally ever in a single Formula 1 season.

Max Verstappen concluded the season with an outstanding 575 points, more than double his teammate Sergio Perez’s 285.

The NFT collection will feature distinctive artwork created by Automobilist, an award-winning design studio known for its artistic designs centered around various aspects of motorsport.

Red Bull’s NFT collection will be minted on Sui, the blockchain developed by Mysten Labs. This collaboration stems from a partnership formed earlier in the year between the Formula 1 racing team and Mysten Labs.

Fans will have the opportunity to acquire the NFTs for free from December 15 to December 19. Sui’s innovation allows users to securely access Web3 experiences using their existing social media credentials, and users minting the collectibles during this period will experience zero gas fees.
